Lizzie Durack can still represent England at this year's U20 World Cup
FATV caught up with England debutants Lizzie Durack and Alex Greenwood following the 3-0 win over Finland in the Cyprus Cup.
Friday’s match in Larnaca represented Everton defender Greenwood’s first senior start, while it was a first-ever taste of football at this level for Durack.
The goalkeeper said of her debut: "It was fantastic. There’s nothing to describe it.
"You’re just buzzing, your heart’s racing and you’re just trying to take it all in."
Greenwood put in an impressive display at left-back, setting up England’s second goal and having a big part to play in the first.
She added: "I thought we were outstanding today. Everything we’ve worked on in training we put into the game."
