About The Course
Expanding knowledge and understanding of Futsal
The FA Level 2 in Coaching Futsal has been designed for coaches that are looking to expand their knowledge and understanding of Futsal beyond FA Level 1 in Coaching Futsal. The course uses a variety of full court games and practices to develop players in possession, out of possession and in transition.
Thee following principle disciplines make up the three main topics of this course:
- Out of possession
- In possession
- Transition
Course Pre-requisites
Prior to applying for the qualification, you are required to hold:
- FA Level 1 in Coaching Futsal
- Introduction to Coaching Football
Outcomes
On completion of the course you will be able to:
- Apply the individual techniques of Futsal within game play
- Demonstrate an understanding of the underlying core strands of Futsal: in possession, out of possession and transitional play through a game based approach
- Understand the Futsal Laws of the Game
- Be aware of how Futsal can develop young players
- Reinforce the different coaching interactions when working with players
